It's time to go!
Running is one of the most popular hobbies since it can be done anywhere, at any time, and it provides benefits such as more excellent aerobic fitness, a better mood, and stress relief. Time to Run on Fitness+ is a new audio running experience that aims to help users become more consistent and better runners by focusing each episode on a popular running route in some of the world's most famous and iconic locations.
Wharton-Malcolm, who is known for supporting diversity in the running community, completed his first marathon in 2007 and now travels the globe to run. His vivacious coaching makes even the most challenging run feel fun.
The Fitness+ coaches compose playlists for the Time to Run episodes, which incorporate inspiring and energizing music. The tracks are tailored to the intensity, location, and coaching of each run, capturing the city's character in which it takes place. For example, the Miami Beach playlist offers Latin music inspired by the city's vivid sights and sounds. Users can also save playlists to listen to them at a later time. During Time to Run, customers will also receive images of significant places along their path snapped by the Fitness+ trainer. After that, photos will appear in the workout summary, where users can save them to their photo gallery or share them with others.
Runners of all abilities can enjoy Time to Run and stay inspired along their course. Time to Run will premiere with Cory Wharton-London, Malcolm's Emily Fayette's Brooklyn, and Sam Sanchez's Miami Beach. On Mondays, a new episode of Time to Run will be released.
Time to Run joins a growing list of Fitness+ audio experiences, such as Time to Walk and Meditation, that can be done anytime, anywhere with an Apple Watch and AirPods or other Bluetooth-enabled headphones.
Time to Run may be enjoyed outside or on a treadmill, and with a Fitness+ membership, episodes will be available in the Workout app for Apple Watch. Time to Run becomes Time to Run or Push for Apple Watch customers who use a wheelchair, and once selected, users can start a run or an Outdoor Push Running Pace workout.
